Why Pre-Chill? Since all bulbs need an extended cold period to grow and bloom properly, special care must be taken to ensure blooming in our southern climate. These bulbs will be ready to plant into your home garden (the very same ones we’ll grow here on the farm) after they spend weeks in our floral cooler at 35-45 degrees.
Prechilled bulbs will be ready for shipping or local pickup in MID-DECEMBER, the perfect planting time for Houston and similar climates.
